FAQs

How do I prepare for a skin treatment?

You will want to make sure to avoid scrubs, alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs), benzoyl peroxide, retinols, or any topical prescriptions at least 5 days prior to your appointment. Also, kindly avoid facial waxing or injectables within a week of your appointment.

Please also view our policies page prior to booking your appointment as well.

How often do I need to get facials?

Your skin is your body’s largest organ, and it renews itself every 28 days. As we age, that timeframe lengthens. It’s important to incorporate facials into your established self-care regimen to ensure total skin health. Our clients typically receive facials every 4-6 weeks, with the exception of Skin Revision clients, who are receiving treatments in clinic biweekly.

Could I have an allergic reaction to any of the products used during the service?

If you do have any allergies, this should be communicated before arriving to your appointment. We also conduct a consultation before any treatments with new guests, so we will discuss your skincare history prior to beginning your treatment.

Do you only provide Skincare services?

No! We offer Skin Revision for the body, as well as Custom Skincare Regimen Consulting. We take pride in being a clinic with a direct focus on skin, so we offer treatments for all areas of the body, not just the face.

Do you offer packages for facials?

Yes! Our approach to skincare requires multiple treatments to achieve your desired goal. We offer many of our Skin Revision treatments in packages to ensure one less thing for you to have to worry about.

Do I need to use home care?

The success of a treatment depends on consistent, proper home care. Your esthetician will select products that are best for your skin and educate you on how to maintain your results in between visits. Following a daily regimen at home is crucial to ensuring you receive the most out of your visits to a professional.

Who is not a candidate for a facial?

Clients who have taken Accutane (Isotretinoin) should not receive traditional facial services until 6 months post Accutane. Accutane users can, however, receive DMK Enzyme Therapy after proper consultation. Hydrafacials are not recommended for clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding. If you have just had Botox or Filler injections we recommend waiting 14 days for any facial service. We are unable to treat you if you have active cold sores, or eyebrow tattooing within the last ten days prior to your appointment.

Do you Take Walk-Ins?

We operate by appointment only, but are happy to accommodate same-day appointments if our schedule allows.

Should I tip after my facial?

Tips are greatly appreciated, but never expected! If you would like to tip your service provider, you have the option during checkout.
